The first algorithm handles potential category conflicts. In addition, we have the ability to manually control which ads appear in a certain publisher's rotation. This allows us to both avoid potential competition issues, as well as assure that the advertisements are targeted to the right audience.
Results Driven Rotation
The next algorithm is an eCPM based system which sets the ad rotation on a per widget basis. By using this algorithm, our advertisers know their ads will appear on the sites where they are most relevant and our publishers know the ads that are most successful on their site will be shown more often.
Conversion Maximization
The third algorithm is based on conversion and allows us to continue to fine tune the rotation. It also provides our advertisers with conversion information so they can better plan their budgets.
